Generation Gap? More like community gap
The youth of today has been widely outclassed; they do not consider themselves to be too young to be pampered, and they are not supposed to be old enough to take responsibility on their own shoulders.
As we all know, life sure has become very different from that of the 18th century. Who would have thought that these small ladies and gentlemen who once upon a time were regarded as the future bearers of world, go campaigning and protesting about feminism, equality, or ,cause riots regarding country politics , joining a drug mafia at a tender age of 14 ,or be a part of the terror ISIS. Now being a adolescent student who is turning 17 soon, I would not say its right to be a part of things that we cannot handle or doing things that does not define us but do I agree that its entirely our fault??
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
Truth is always bitter and hiding facts is equivalent to lying, thus I tell you that one of the main reasons to this extreme self damage is THE SOCIETY’S LACK OF TRUST IN TODAY’S YOUTH
From the time unknown the society has been deciding things for the youth, be it the perfect groom for your daughter, or even a child’s duty to its parent. Everything has been already decided and formulated before and any arguments against these wise-sayings are just leading up for a character assassinate. We apparently are so young and immature that we have to be on their drawn lines.BE IN YOUR LIMITS, that’s what they tell us, DO NOT MEDDLE IN THINGS THAT DO NOT CONCERN YOU. But pondering upon the fact that it is us the meddlers who ultimately have to deal with things that at times might not be as effective as our elders had hoped it would result in. Just because Sharma uncles son got into IIT does not mean all of us are hoping to become future IITians.
This point thus brings me to the second reason, BEING A PART OF THE FOREVER RATRACE .
Most of the the teenagers do half the things not because they like to, its well, because they want to. Yes, they want to because doing this fad diet might make them much cooler, they want to because they don’t want to be laughed at, they want to as they want to please their role models-respect their teachers-obey their parents, they want to because they do not know what do they want. These “wants” can sometime lead to much deeper problems that one has to sacrifice many of the years of their life sometimes even their loved ones.
Ranked third in this small list of problems is STRESS AND TIME MANAGEMENT.
Surprising? I think not…
Managing the pressure to succeed in every area of life and finding time to do it allseems to be one of the biggest challenges facing the youth today. Young people are expected to be successful, yet few of them are aware of effective time management. How does one manage to excel their school work doing side by side activities be it singing ,dancing or both singing and dancing?
Therefore just know for a fact that ;
IF YOU ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO BE NORMAL,YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HOW AMAZING YOU ARE!!!!
